Jeanne Smith has been selling high-quality Cambridge homes since moving here in 1984, and has been a top producer with University Real Estate since 1990.

She owns her own large condominium near Radcliffe at 27 Linnaean Street, where she has been a very active trustee in her Washington Avenue at Linnaean Street condominium association on Avon Hill.

Ms. Smith attended private school in Buffalo, N.Y. and graduated from Cornell University with a degree in English and sociology. She then worked in the editorial department of the Journal of Philosophical and Phenomenological Research at the University of Buffalo.

She was a hospital volunteer in New York City and Cleveland, before becoming a medical admissions official at Beth Israel Hospital, New England Medical Center and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Over the years, she was active in Campfire Girls, parent/teacher organizations, library volunteers and the League of Women Voters.
